Amber Priestley
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
Before scheduling your first session, you’ve probably browsed a few therapist profiles and websites looking for someone you think might be a fit. If you are reading this little blurb I do hope it makes reaching out for that first appointment a bit more comfortable.
First off, the important stuff…
Clients often describe me compassionate, non-judgemental, authentic, and REAL.
I specialize in individual therapy for trauma recovery including PTSD and C-PTSD and have a special interest in women’s mental health and wellness.
Additionally, I have a passion for couples seeking help for relationship concerns. I firmly believe that with the right skills couples can improve communication, intimacy, and overall connection.
A Little More About Me…
I firmly believe that therapists bring their lived experiences to the table and that therapist/client rapport is the most important factor that determines positive outcomes in therapy.
Being authentic is critical to good client/therapist rapport and I hope every client that graces my office feels comfortable being themselves.
I enjoy helping clients on their path to mental wellness.
In my personal life, I am a mom, wife, aerial gymnast, and pet lover. I love to eat ice cream in the winter time and spend all my summer weekends close to water.
